Women`s Rights, of no interest

Did you see my facebook post of today, the day after the Supreme Court`s decision? I am really puzzled about America. Where is this going? At school I learned a bit about the American Constitution, written in 1787 by men only, and referring to "persons" only as men. (Compare Art. 1, The President- He shall, He may, HIS death..., or in Section 6: "No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which HE was elected..." and "no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during HIS continuance in Office..."). There is one exception, though, referring to slaves: Art. 1, Section 9 says "The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year 1808, but a Tax duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person." Such "imported persons" could be both men and women. I am comparing this to my own country. Germany gave itself a new constitution after WW II in May 1949. It includes rights for ALL citizens. There had been fights too, about women being treated alike, but then this was included in the "Basic Rights": (I only quote the main articles, others being equally important, but this is what I am chewing on right now.) Art. 1 (1) Human dignity shall be inviolable. To respect and protect it shall be the duty of all state authority. (3) The following basic rights shall bind the legislative, the executive and the judiciary as directly applicable law. Art. 2 (2) Every person shall have the right to life and physical integrity. Freedom of the person shall be inviolable. Art.3 (1) All persons shall be equal before the law. (2) MEN AND WOMEN SHALL HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS. Art. 6 (4) Every mother shall be entitled to the protection and care of the community. About the last one I want to add that pregnant women are oftentimes kept by Nature from giving birth. Women don`t spread their tales, but alone from what I have heard told, it seems to me that about half of the pregnancies end in unforced miscarriages. What do these male lawmakers know about women`s everyday lives? Will they really not care for mothers whose bodies decide otherwise - simply assuming they ended the pregnancies themselves? Speaking of assumptions: This strange lady (forgot the name), being a top representative of "Pro Life" said on CNN that she KNEW all mothers wanted to be parenting if they got a little help! No. Some women don`t, just as many fathers don`t. But AT LEAST she could provide this "help" immediately. Aaah, ther is so much more to be said, but you get why I am worried about America, right?

  1. We cannot judge women who decide to terminate. Not everyone has a loving support network or is able financially to raise a child. There are so many reasons. Judge not and ye shall not be judged etc.

Ps there are many children in the world who lack basic care and amenities.

The gun law and disempowering women seem to run consecutively. Why? No good shall come of either.
